Needle and Notion Cases

Soft Japanese double gauze made up into needle rolls for crochet hooks and/or knitting needles.

The first with Nani Iro lovely floral and leather ties.



The next with KOKKA indigo print and leather ties.



Two zipper pouches for all the little extras in Leah Duncan's Eastside Umbrellas and two different matching leather bases.

My Mother's Apron with a new full style

In the 1950s it wasn't uncommon to sell things from the home. Wives did not work then, and to make pin-money would sell eggs or piano lessons, or like my mother, sewn goods. My brother and I, ten and eight respectively, would cart a small suitcase loaded up with a dozen or so aprons and a sales book, and go door-to-door. This design of this apron is based on measurements from one my mother made in the 1950s for us to sell. I think you'll find it just as useful today.

Now I have made My Mother's Apron with a full bib style.
