UGLY DUCKLINGS & CHERRY BLOSSOM HILL

No. 435

I found this cute LIZZY HOUSE "Ugly Duckling" print and was inspired to let them float on the sparkling water of Amy Butler's "Kaleidoscope" fabric. There are so many wonderful new fabrics that I could spend all my time sewing, but my little Singer Featherweight has to rest sometime.

For a change, I always have other projects on hand. My mother taught me to knit with yarn from our local dime store. I still have the little handknit bag that I would take to grade school with my knitting. It wouldn't quite hold my newest project! I found a lovely sweater from Japanese Inspired Knits by Marianne Isager and the yarn from nordyknits etsy shop. A big THANK YOU! to Kathy for being so kind and featuring my work on her blog Cherry Blossom Hill Studio .

Now I just have to find time to keep the weeds out of my gardens. Look for my new (and old) on flickr .
